What is Awatenai Awatenai ?

"Awatenai awatenai" translates to "Don't panic, don't panic" or "Chill out, chill out" in Japanese. It's a phrase used to encourage calm and reassure someone that they shouldn't worry. It's a common expression, particularly in situations where someone might be feeling anxious or overwhelmed.

Mr. Masuda, one of the finest magicians, magic creators from Japan came out with this effect, using a popular plot in magic, that is “Magician in trouble scenario”.

Is the magician’s prediction wrong??? Don’t worry! This is not a mistake! Magician made a right prediction!! As you know already Awatenai means “chill out” in Japanese.

The magician places on the table a plastic black case which has a prediction card inside.

Then a spectator takes a card from the deck. The magician places it on top of the deck. The magician opens the case to show the prediction card. The prediction card seems different from the chosen card…but…chill out!!

When the magician flips the prediction card over, the card changes to match the card chosen by the audience!
